THURSDAY DROP-OFF DAY : We now offer open drop-off hours every Thursday for consignments. No appointment is necessary. Bring your items during shop hours and we’ll review them as soon as possible.
We require that items are ready to sell: freshly clean and pressed, excellent condition, and devoid of major alterations or damage.
Items should align with the creative seasonal vision of Modemétier. Please understand that we may occasionally decide not to accept certain items at our discretion. Acceptance is based on current inventory needs and item condition.

Modemétier sets prices based on each item’s condition, relevance, and market value, consulting with the consignor as needed. The shop may adjust prices according to market demand.
Commission Structure:
For items sold at a price under €700: The shop retains 50% of the selling price as commission.
For items sold at a price of €700 or higher: The shop retains 40% of the selling price as commission.
VAT: The commission amounts are inclusive of VAT, which the shop will handle.
Duration of Consignment:
Items are typically consigned for 60-90 days. After 30 days, a 30% discount may be applied to encourage sales unless otherwise agreed by both parties. Consignment may extend beyond 90 days by mutual agreement.

After an item is sold, you will be informed with a request to be paid out. We will then transfer the proceeds to your bank account.
Payouts are issued 14-21 days after each item sells and are processed weekly.
BRANDS WE COVET
We accept high-quality brands or non-branded vintage that aligns with our seasonal vision. We do not however accept any fast fashion labels – i.e. Zara, Topshop, H&M, etc.

Loss/Damage Disclaimer:
We will handle your items with the utmost care, however consignment is done entirely at your own risk. Modemétier is not liable for loss or damage to consigned items due to theft, fire, or other unforeseen circumstances while the items are In the shop’s possession.
Unsold Items Policy:
After the consignment period, you will be notified to pick up any unsold items. Please collect unsold items within 14 days of notification; items not collected may be donated.
Termination of Agreement:
Either party may terminate this agreement with 7 days’ notice. In such cases, all items will be returned to the consignor unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

Item Authenticity:
The consignor certifies that all items provided are authentic, and accepts full responsibility if an item is found to be counterfeit.
